Jaylyn Robotham has confirmed he'll switch V8 codes this season with a move to the National Trans Am Series as part of the SpeedSeries program.
The Lancefield-born driver has spent the past two seasons in the Super2 Series, a category one level below the Supercars Championship.
He contested the 2022 Bathurst 1000 as a wildcard entry alongside Matt Chahda, finishing 18th.

Robotham will join The Racing Academy, an all-new three-car team led by driver trainer and engineer Tom Williamson.
Robotham will contest the series in its entirety alongside Cody Gillis.
Tim Slade will drive the third entry at the season-opener, but will be replaced by Cody Gillis from the second round onwards.
Slade, a Supercars veteran, will remain with the team in a mentor capacity.
"Trans Am is definitely a good category," said Robotham.
"It's got nice, tight racing and it's very competitive."
Robotham isn't entirely unfamiliar with Trans Am. He drove a nearly identical car in Thailand where he had success.
"The Australian cars are a little bit different, but certainly the V8s on a Hoosier tyre are a lot of fun to drive," he said.
"There are some really strong drivers in Trans Am and I know they'll be having a crack. For me coming from Super2 last year, it will be interesting to see how it goes.
"Tom is a well-respected driver coach from karting, and he is progressing into cars now. It will be cool for me to have a fresh start with a fresh team.
"I'm looking forward to meeting the team and having a good season.
"Having team-mates is definitely an advantage. You can always learn from them, no matter how inexperienced they are.
"We'll see how it plays out, but there are always ways to learn."
The opening SpeedSeries round. Race Tasmania, at Symmons Plains takes place on February 24-26.
Stan Sport will carry live, ad-free, and uninterrupted coverage on Saturday and Sunday.
The Nine Network will carry three hours of free-to-air coverage on Saturday from 2pm to 5pm.
