BBC presenter Chris Hughes has been warned by the organisation as he comes under fire for his 'Barbie' comment towards Australian cricketer Maitlan Brown.
Hughes - a former Love Island contestant - was speaking to the bowler during Southern Brave's match in The Hundred.
After referring to Brown as a "batsman" to start the interview, Hughes later asked how the team had settled in and bonded together.

"We watched Barbie the other night all together and it was really good team bonding and the group is gelling really well together," Brown replied.

Hughes then quipped back: "You're a little Barbie yourself, aren't you, with your blue eyes."
As Brown laughed, he added: "She's blushing now."
Since the interview, Hughes has copped criticism on social media with the BCC stating they have addressed the issue with him.

Brown's Brave side went on to win the match against Trent Rockets by 27 runs.
