Nine announces initiative to support Aussie Olympians


// Nine has announced a new partnership with the Australian Olympic Committee (AOC) which will see the network support athletes on their journey towards the 2032 Olympics in Brisbane. The three-year deal with Nine as an official partner of the Australian Olympic team will give the network special access to athletes and will cover Paris 2024, Milan Cortina 2026 and the Youth Olympics in both 2024 and 2026. Nine's partnership with the AOC comes after signing a 10-year deal with the International Olympic Committee (IOC). We look forward to working with the AOC over the coming years to help support our athletes as they strive for Olympic glory," Nine CEO Mike Sneesby said in a statement. "On any given day, countless Australian children are playing sport dreaming of one day competing on the world's ultimate stage. With Brisbane 2032 less than a decade away, our commitment to the Olympic movement is to shine a light on those dreams, share athletes' stories and help grow the Olympic spirit." The deal encompasses Nine's television and radio networks across Australia as well as video on demand and streaming services," AOC boss Matt Carroll said.
