He was in discussions for NSW Blues selection in 2022, and now Raiders second-rower Hudson Young has put himself back in the conversation with a brilliant display against the Dragons.
With the game on the line, Young stripped the ball 10 metres out from the Dragons try line before running 90 metres to score.
Post-game Fox League host Braith Anasta called it 'arguably the play of the season' and Jack Wighton was only happy to add to the commentary.

"I think he's the most hated man in rugby league but most loved on our team," he told Fox.
"He's a beauty mate he's always giving 100 per cent and that's the stuff that comes off it, he's a real goer."
Speaking post-game, Corey Parker was equally as glowing about the second-rower.
"The play from Hudson Young, that was incredible," he said.
Having been part of the Raiders system for several years now, Young has seemingly hit his straps in the last two seasons.

The Origin hopeful had a special message for former Canberra half Sam Williams when speaking to him on ABC Grandstand.
"That try was for you and all the times you told me I wasn't fast enough... I didn't know who was chasing me from behind, but I looked up at the big screen and saw a little gap, so kept going," he said.
An error ridden first half made the match hard to watch early on at GIO Stadium, and it took virtually until half time for the deadlock to be broken, when winger Tautau Moga found the line right on the 40-minute mark.
Four minutes into the second half and Dragons forward Jack De Belin was on report for a dangerous tackle which lead to a Sebastian Kris try with the Raiders leading 6-4.
A penalty against Jack Bird meant the Raiders extended its lead to 8-4 before winger Nick Cotric was sent to the sin bin in the 53rd minute for a professional foul.
By the 60th minute the Dragons were in front thanks to a Matthew Feagai try and Zac Lomax penalty goal.
Matthew Timoko gave the Raiders the lead two minutes later before Young's stunning play came in the 73rd minute with the Raiders in front 20-10.
Tautau Moga intercepted a Jack Wighton pass with two minutes left, running 50 metres to score but it turned out to be a consolation effort with the Raiders winning 20-14.
