A sprint sensation from Queensland has broken a national 200-metre record and affirmed his status as a potential future Olympic superstar.
Gout Gout, 15, blitzed the field at the Australian Junior Athletics Championships in Brisbane even though he was much younger than most of the competitors.
The Ipswich teen clocked 20.87 seconds in the under 18s race, shaving a remarkable 0.03 seconds off the record and breaking the elusive 21-second barrier.

Darren Clark, Paul Greene, and Zane Branco had held the Australian under 18s record jointly before Saturday.
They were all at least a year older than Gout was when they ran the time. Gout only turned 15 in December.
"It means a lot because I've been training so much for this," Gout said after the win on Saturday.
"I was really nervous. The gun went, and I was good and I just kept pushing.
"It's like you can't feel any ground contact, it feels like you are floating.
"This season has been mind blowing for me. Last year I came fourth and sixth at nationals, and then I came out at All Schools and won. I was really motivated because I took last year personally, it always feels better when you are winning."
Gout also holds the Australian records at under 16s level in the 100m and 200m. His under 16s 200m record is 21.14 seconds.
On Sunday he will contest the under 18s 100m race. His under 16s record at that distance is 10.57s.
The under 18s 100m record is 10.25s, run by Sebastian Sultana last year.
