Eddie Jones' penchant for left field hires has continued with the addition of AFL guru David Rath to his Wallabies staff.
Rath joins the Wallabies with the curious job title of 'learning co-ordinator' as Jones plots glory at this year's Rugby World Cup.
Rath has most recently working with St Kilda in various high performance roles including head of football.

He was previously a member of Hawthorn's staff during a golden era of premierships in 2008, 2013, 2014 and 2015.
"David has worked with the best coaches in the AFL and will bring a skill set that will help aid our learning environment," Jones said.
The Wallabies have also secured Neal Hatley as their new scrum coach, replacing Petrus du Plessis.

Hatley is currently Bath's forwards coach and worked under Jones in England's run to the 2019 World Cup final.
He will join the Wallabies in May.
"I'm honoured to join Eddie and the Wallabies in what's a massive year with the World Cup just over five months away," Hatley said.

Jones has already locked in NRL great Brett Hodgson as his defence coach.
