Players will be vying for the biggest pot of cash in Australian Open history, with both men's and women's singles winners set to take home roughly $3 million.

The total prize pool is $76.5 million, up from $74 million in 2022 and $71.5 million in 2021. Just 10 years ago it was $30 million, putting into context the whopping money on offer for today's stars.

Last year's winners took home $2.875m each, with the amount for this year's winners up by $100,000.
