Collingwood midfielder Taylor Adams would have been beyond shattered after Saturday night's qualifying final thriller.

Adding injury to insult, Adams finished the night with a vest on and watching the action from the bench.

He suffered a nasty injury and had to helped off the field by two Magpies trainers. Reports after the game suggest Adams tore his groin badly, and is no chance to play again this season.
The 28-year-old will be sidelined when his team takes on Fremantle next week in a do-or-die semi-final clash at the MCG.
There's not many worse feelings for a footballer than having your season ended by injury and your team losing a final all in the one night.
But Adams had his spirits lifted as he left the MCG.
He later tweeted about a wholesome meeting with a young fan outside the stadium.
"Magpie army I need your help," Adams said.

"The young girl came up to me and offered to hold my hand crossing Swan Street, she then gave a massive hug.
"I would love to find them."
