The future of under-fire Wests Tigers coach Michael Maguire could be decided within the next fortnight as the club undertakes a mid-season review.
Nine and The Sydney Morning Herald's Michael Chammas reports Tigers football boss Tim Sheens will conduct a review of the first half of the season, and in doing so, will make a recommendation to the board on how the football department should look moving forward.
The Tigers, who haven't played finals football since 2011, are staring down the barrel of another season without September action, sitting in 15th spot on the ladder with just three wins.

The club's losing ways didn't improve on Saturday night, after Maguire's men allowed a 12-0 lead against South Sydney to slip away before losing 44-18.
"We haven't had a score put on us until last night," Sheens told the Sydney Morning Herald.
"The score last night hurt us after leading at half-time. I know the boys are disappointed. Madge is disappointed. I'm not prepared to make a comment 24 hours later about what we're going to do or not do.
"There's always ongoing speculation. I won't make specific comments on the coach. It is a moment for us to stop and catch our breath and then put forward a recommendation after that. There's a board meeting next month."
The Tigers have upcoming fixtures against Manly, Canterbury and the Warriors.
The Sydney Morning Herald in an earlier report claimed the club had hoped it would have double-digit competition points by the halfway mark of the season.
They sit second-last with only six points.
Maguire avoided the axe last season when reports at the time suggested the club was on the verge of cutting him loose.
The club conducted an end-of-season review, after a disappointing 2021 that saw the Tigers finish in 13th spot with just eight wins from 24 matches.
