Addo-Carr injury rocks Blues camp

//

The NSW Blues are confident winger Josh Addo-Carr will be ready to go for next Wednesday's Game Three decider against the Maroons.

Addo-Carr was seen working with the trainer and testing his foot in the changerooms after the Blues' 34-10 thumping of the Maroons in Game Two.

The speedster, who starred for New South Wales, bagging two tries on the night, was seen wearing a moon boot and on crutches as he arrived for the Blues' recovery session this morning.

The team's medical staff are confident the injury is nothing serious and that Addo-Carr will be fine for next week's game, according to AAP's Scott Bailey, who reports the injury is merely "toe bruising".

Addo-Carr finished last night's match with two tries, one linebreak and 66 run metres, per NRL.com stats.

In more good news for the Blues, halfback Nathan Cleary is free to play next week after being cleared by the NRL's Match Review Committee over a shoulder charge incident.

Cleary came up with what appeared to be a shoulder charge on Queensland's Xavier Coates during his Man of the Match performance at ANZ Stadium.
