Comanche has claimed line honours in the 75th Sydney to Hobart, after making the most of overnight winds to break free of a five-strong supermaxi pack.
The Jim Cooney and Samantha Grant-skippered supermaxi made the most of strong overnight winds to cross the River Derwent finish line just after 7.30am (AEDT) on Saturday, in a time of one day, 18 hours, 30 minutes and 24 seconds.
It's the third time Jim Cooney and crew have won the race, with the dominant victory blowing their opponents out of the water.
Comanche earlier broke away from a five-strong pack of supermaxis down Tasmania's east coast having taken a wider route across Bass Strait on Friday.
There was some drama in the River Derwent though, with Comanche brought to a complete halt as the wind just disappeared.
As the crew stood waiting for the wind to return, Infotrack in second place started to gain some pace and could be seen on the horizon as they closed the cap on the race leader.

Fortunately the wind picked up enough for Comanche to sail into Constitution Dock to win line honours.

Comanche's previous wins were in 2015 and 2017, the latter coming in race-record time after Wild Oats XI was stripped of the title in a post-race protest.
NSW boat Minerva became the fleet's third retirement overnight, reducing the number of yachts in the race to 154.
